Talk Without Rhythm Podcast

Join El Goro, part-time luchador and full-time cinephile, as he delves into the broad grassy spaces and massed granite tarns of cinema. Each episode, El Goro discusses two movies tied together by some kind of theme. Action, sci-fi, horror, high-brow, low-brow: it's all fair game.

This week on the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast I have another Patreon Pick, this time from TWoRP Legionnaire Evil Cornie. Cornie requested I take a look at 2017's Suburbicon, and I chose to pair it with another George Clooney-directed film - 2005's Good Night, and Good Luck.

This week on the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast I'm fulfilling another Patreon Pick, this time from TWoRP Legionnaire Slacker Spice. Slacker requested I take a look at the 1999 classic Galaxy Quest, so I opted to pair it with another celebration of fandom (albeit from a Galaxy Far, Far Away...) - 2009's Fanboys.

This week on the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast I'm kicking off 2020 with a science fiction double-feature of subconscious shrieks courtesy of a Patreon Pick from TWoRP Legionnaire Tom B. Tom requested I take a look at 1956's Forbidden Planet and I opted to pair it with 1981's Galaxy of Terror.

One is a bonafide classic in the genre. The other is a sleazy Alien rip-off best known for a scene involving a nekkid lady and a giant maggot.

This should be interesting.
